"HECHO EN ESPAñA - MADE IN SPAIN"

This exhibit is a special opportunity for you to see some stunning etchings by artists who worked in the printmaking studio of the Rodriguez Acosta Foundation in Granada, Spain, including Maureen Booth, Teiko Mori, Jésus Conde, Antonio Conde, Dolores Montejano. Rosey and Barbara collected these"obras" on their two extended stays in Granada (1986/87, 1996/97. Barbara and "Roberto" Rosenthal are taking this opportunity to share their Spanish collection with you (most not for sale). They are also offering for sale favorite works of their own from Spain,some never before shown. Books and sketchbooks are also on hand for those of you with extended time and interest. If you have been to southern Spain, this show will make you nostalgic. If you have not been, then this will give you a feeling for what Andalucia is like.

In the Classroom

Class for Children ages 7 to 11, March 10-14, Acrylic Painting $50

Watercolor Saturday Class with Hope Myers April 12, 9:30 to 11:30 $20

Private Classes from Barbara or Rosey are available for $35/ hour. Two hour minimum if we travel to you.

Figure Drawing through the end of March, 9-noon.. The fee is $36 for a month of four Monday sessions, or $11 a session on a drop-in basis.

Outside the Studio

CAUTION: ART ZONE January 19 to March 16. Reception January 19 from 6 pm to 9 pm. This is interesting show at the Art Center at Mission Plaza in San Luis Obispo. Rosey and Barbara will be part of this special mixed media exhibit.

 

Renaissance Faire begins on April 5 in Irwindale at the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area. This year the Faire is broadening its scope, including a seaport village atmosphere.
