A Pair of Strays

My model surprised me by showing up in an elegant black dress so, instead of drawing her nude as I originally planned I used the entire session drawing her in various poses dressed.

Taking advantage of surprises to try new things is part of the adventure of being an artist. I have also learned to continue to take chances when those new ideas do not working out very well.
